What’s the difference between ShopSafe ONE and Reveal R1?
ShopSafe ONE and the Reveal R1 are both body cameras built for retail, with an SOS button, live streaming, a pre-record buffer and IP67 protection. The R1 is lighter at 58g, has a large front-facing screen and records for up to 10 hours, but connects over Wi-Fi and Bluetooth only, with no 4G or GPS. ShopSafe ONE works anywhere on 4G, adds push-to-talk radio and facial recognition alerts, and sends footage into Alert crime intelligence.

It covers the same ground: body worn video, an SOS button with live streaming, a pre-record buffer and IP67 protection. It also adds 4G, GPS, push-to-talk radio, facial recognition and Alert crime intelligence. The R1 is lighter and has a larger front-facing screen.
- What difference does 4G make?
The R1 sends SOS alerts and live video over Wi-Fi, so colleagues need to be in range of your network. ShopSafe ONE also uses 4G, with GPS location, so an alert gets through from the car park, a delivery bay or a patrol outside the store.
- What happens to our existing footage if we switch?
Keep or export the evidence you need from DEMS 360 in line with your retention policy. New footage from ShopSafe ONE goes to your secure evidence vault or straight into Alert.
- How much does ShopSafe ONE cost?
