Get connected to the shops, pubs and Cambridgeshire Constabulary, CCTV and the City Rangers across Cambridge. Warn each other about shoplifters and troublemakers, and call for help at the press of a button.

Run in partnership with Cambridge Business Against Crime, working with Cambridgeshire Constabulary.
When something happens, every business on the network knows about it in seconds.
One press of the button reaches every shop, pub and security team on the network.
If a customer turns aggressive, one press raises an alarm with your location so help comes to you.
Hear when a known shoplifter or troublemaker is heading your way, before they walk through your door.
Our team looks after every radio. If one breaks, a replacement arrives next day at no extra cost.
“We use a ShopSafe radio all the time, we have it on constantly, because if there’s anything happening, we can support.”

A nearby shop reported a theft. This owner spotted the shoplifter across the way, got on the radio, and tracked where he went until the police caught up.

It links shops, pubs, bars, security teams and the police in Cambridge on one radio network, so members can warn each other about shoplifters and troublemakers and call for help instantly. ShopSafe runs the radio network in partnership with Cambridge Business Against Crime.
Cambridgeshire Constabulary is part of the scheme, working with Cambridge Business Against Crime to share information about known offenders with members.
Call 999 in an emergency. The radio is for everything else: warning the shop next door, hearing that a known offender is on the high street, and getting help from other members and security staff nearby, often before a situation becomes an emergency.
The radios run over 4G, so they work anywhere there is a mobile signal. If your signal is weak we’ll check it during your trial.
